Spells or affirmations can be powerful tools to help
focus your energy towards a desired outcome. Always remember that a
ritual is simply a "tool" to help you focus your own natural energies
and spirit. Much like other forms of energy raising it can sometimes be
necessary to perform the ritual more then once. And as you become more
adept at raising and tuning into your own power you will see an
evolution and progress to your spell-casting.
Below you will find a few free
rituals/spells/affirmations to try. Don't feel as though you have to do
the ritual exactly as written or use all of the same items.
Magick...true magick is about creation..so if you need to susbstitute an
ingredient go ahead.
The 7-Knot
On a Friday night take 3 pieces of ribbon or string. These
should be at least 1 foot in length. They should be 3 different colors.
One Red, one Pink, One green. Now tie a knot at the top to secure the
three strings. Now braid all three together. While doing this think
about the name of _________. Say this name out loud while braiding. Now
take the braided ribbons or strings and tie 7 knots of equal distance
apart down the braid. Each time you tie a knot say this,
1. With the first knot I begin the
spell.
2. With the second knot I pledge my Love.
3. With the third knot I promise to be true.
4. With this fourth knot I ask for the love of you.
5.With this fifth knot I entwine our hearts.
6. With this sixth knot I join our souls.
7. With this seventh knot we become one.
Now for the next 7 days take the knotted
braid out at night and concentrate on_______ becoming your lover. After
the seven days take the braid and bury it where ______ lives. This must
be done at night when they cannot see you. Soon after burying the knots
________ should become your lover.
Moon Water Spell
Have a glass of red wine ready. The wine should be warmed
with 6 rose petals and one thimbleful of honey. If you do not drink
alcohol, you can have an elixir ready of boiled water, 6 rose petals and
a thimbleful of honey (about a ½ teaspoon will do). This is best drunk
from a crystal glass, however regular glass will do. But if you can find
a glass made from clay or something made from the earth, that is best.
When you drink the wine you must say this:
St. Agnes, bright Venus, and Sweet lady of
the Moon,
Bring my beloved _______ to my side very soon.
This ritual performed, this brew that I drink, shall be his
magic key,
And if it is meant, then So Mote it Be.
Now you must finish the drink and blow out
the candle. Now you must sleep.
The next evening you must next go and
gather a quart of water from a spring or stream. Then pour it into a
large bowl, set within a darkened chamber; by candlelight, then, take a
silver knife and write with it's point upon the water's surface the name
of your beloved _______. Next, soak a small lock of lamb's wool first in
a sweet scented oil (This oil can be anything that you find sweet, if
__________ has a favorite sweet scent use that.) and second in some red
wine. Carry it to the bowl and drop it into the water, saying these
words:
THY HEART BE LIGHTENED
THY WILL BE WEAKENED
THY LOVE BE SWEETENED
BY THE POWER OF THE KNIFE
AND BY THE POWER OF THE WATER
Leave the lamb's wool there to soak all
night, until sunrise, when it should be removed, wrung out, and set to
dry upon a small circle of blue velvet cloth. Meanwhile the contents of
the bowl should be emptied out into a hole dug in the earth, and the
hole filled in again.
When the lamb's wool is quite dry it should be sewn up in
the velvet and pinned beneath your clothing, to be worn for a full month
and thereafter kept in a secret place for safety, that it's charmed
powers may not be diminished through neglect.

Love
Apple
Take two red apples and cut then in half from stem to
bottom. Discard one half from each apple. Carve your initials on the
inside of one half and your love's initials on the inside of the other
half.
Place a red candle in front of you. On a small piece of
parchment write your love's name. (red ink is best)
Place a small square of white silk (about 2 by 2) in front
of red candle (candle should not be lit yet). Now prick your finger and
place one drop of your blood on the silk. The drop should be placed in
the center of the silk square. Take 6 bay leaves and the parchment with
his name written and burn them in a small bowl. Use the ashes of the
leaves and the parchment to make a small circle around the drop of your
blood.
Now fold the silk corner to corner thrice. You should have a
small triangular piece. Take a sewing needle and sew the small triangle
closed with red thread. If you can manage to sew a strand of your hair
in with the thread, that will help to make the binding stronger. While
you are sewing you should be thinking of your love. Say this: "With this
I bind ____ to me." When you are finished sewing it closed, take the
needle and stick it through the center of the triangle and say this:
It is not alone this amulet I stick,
But my true love's heart I wish to prick.
Whether he be sleeping or awake,
I'll have him come to me and speak.
Now anoint the red candle with some rose oil (jasmine or
ylang ylang will do). Then light the candle.
Now place the silk amulet inside the two apple halves. The
amulet should have the needle still sticking through the center. Make
sure the needle that is through the amulet sticks into both halves of
the apples.
Bind the two apple halves together with red
ribbon or string. Use wax from the burning candle to seal the edges of
the apple. Drop the melted wax around the apple halves to seal.
Bury the apple in the ground. Somewhere it
will remain undisturbed.

List of ingredients and supplies: two red
apples, small knife for carving, one red candle, oil of rose (you may
substitute ylang ylang or jasmine oil) small square of white silk, small
square of parchment, one sewing needle with red thread, 6 bay leaves,
small bowl to burn leaves and parchment, red ribbon or string.
